Most of things we do every day related to physical health. These factors may effect positively or negatively. For example, when we eat junk foods our physical health may badly effected. If we take same concept to mental health, when we feel jealous with someone and get angry with some one , our mental health will be badly effected.
There are few things we do in life helps to increase both physical and mental fitness. Sport and Martial arts are two great examples.

Martial arts as a science can help us to improve our energy level both physically and mentally.

So I strongly agree with OP.
