Would it be possible to get a list of do's and donts to deal with this malicious and incidious hate crime that seems to abound in the teenage population ?

My 2 cents worth

Develop Self esteem
Healthy lines of Communication with parents or educated mentors

if in trouble - contact the webmaster
if receiving texts - talk to an elder about it -report it to your teacher - or even police, for assistance.

Prevention is preferable - do not posess comprimising pictures of yourself - or allow them to be taken.

When going out - stay sober and drug free - do not leave your self vulnerable -

How true are your 'friends' - judge people by deed not their words.

If being threatened - in the big scheme of things how bad could it be ? if some one is saying bad things - they are just words - maybe half the world will believe it BUT your core friends will know better ... if they join in are they good friends anyway ?

malicious gossip and slander is a way of life these days...the paralance of the bored, sad and pathetic - why allow them to enjoy your discomfort - that's the very reason why they are doing it to watch you 'bite' - it's sick and pathetic but a fact of life...it's a way pathetic people validate their OWN self esteem - to feel superior - the way to fight back is to empower yourself and build support around you.

Good supportive networks are really important - Family - social - group religious and other....

Your additions to this list would be great our collective list might help someone.
